What a lovely way to start a new month eh?! Bumping into international superstar and Grammy award winner Adele!!

Like always this encounter comes with some drama. I basically was on my lunch break when I saw Adele in the reception of building I work in. She was freaking out about being claustrophobic, and that she couldnt have more than one other person in the elevator with her. I found out later that she was acting so hysterical that one of my colleagues (who didn’t know who she was) told her to stop being a drama queen and take the stairs if she was that bothered.

Apparently (and I say apprently as I wasn’t there, and I know people love to sensationalise things) what started all this off is poor Vic the security guard! I was told she walked in and stormed over to the lift area, and was called back by Vic and told to sign in the visitors book. To which she went balistic and started chanting the infamous ”Don’t you know who I am” line. She was then firmly told that the guard was only doing his job and there was no need for any commotion.

I missed all of that, but I did walk into her having fits about too many people surrounding her in the elevator. It was actually quite pathetic to witness. While I don’t knock peoples fears, as I suffer from serious Acrophobia, I didn’t think all the drama of her acting nutty in the lobby necessary.

Never the less, she did manage to take a cool photo with me, and as she did so, Vic came up to us both and she goes to me ”what does he want”. I didn’t know what to say or do as poor Vic looked lost. I really love Adele, and so it’s a little heartbreaking when you see a musician you respect act in a silly diva like manner.

I won’t crucify her, as she I’d like to think that she was just having a bad day, as she did look genuinely exhausted. Well I am certainly happy with my A list snap
